The paintings of Lisa Tornack can be described as calm, haunting, and beautiful. Although rooted in the natural world Lisa's artwork, unlike traditional landscapes, leans to the abstract. The artist integrates words into the horizon lines of her compositions and utilizes the imagery of falling leaves, cherry blossoms, and abstracted infinity symbols to illustrate a personal philosophy about peace. A philosphy beginning first with peace of mind and then extending further to harmony and balance universally. When speaking to her work, Lisa says she is fascinated by the way "nature illustrates the interconnection of all living things".
The artist's work has been shown both locally and internationally. Lisa Tornack currently has a number of paintings available for sale and offers commissions to clients.
