The paintings of Lisa Tornack has been described as calm, beautiful, dream like, and haunting. The pieces are rooted in the natural world but unlike traditional landscapes, she has integrated text into the horizon lines of the landscapes. The integration of words creates organic pieces that lean to the abstract. Lisa describes her work as a "study of balance" and is fascinated by the way "nature illustrates the interconnection of all things".
